As the Director of IT, I oversee the full suite of IT services including vision, strategy, service delivery, infrastructure, day to day IT operations, applications architecture and security.\\\\n\\\\nMy roles and responsibilities include:\\\\n\\\\nPlanning & Strategy\\\\n• Identify and execute strategic change in the IT environment positioning the firm to embrace digital transformation.\\\\n• Develop and manage short and long-term objectives, directions and strategies for the effective use of corporate IT assets, including identifying systems requirements and preparing infrastructure roadmaps.\\\\n\\\\nSecurity & Compliance\\\\n• Develop and implement a security program to protect and manage the firm’s assets and client data.\\\\n• Develop and oversee the implementation of corporate policies, training, procedures and standards related to information management and technology services.\\\\n\\\\nApplications\\\\n• Assess the current core IT application suite and determine future requirements for hosting, supporting and integrating applications, systems and service. Review the quality of services delivered and address internal client issues and concerns.\\\\n\\\\nService Delivery\\\\n• Ensure there is open and effective two-way communication between IT and users. Ensure the provision of timely and effective support across the firm for all its technology and information systems needs. Maintain a strong service orientation in IT.\\\\n\\\\nPeople Leadership\\\\n• Coach, mentor, support and motivate team members, including providing career planning, education and skills training, and performance management.\\\\n• Foster a positive work environment by setting and clarifying goals, building the commitment of individual team members, strengthening the group’s collective skills and encouraging creativity and problem solving.\\\\n\\\\nModernization\\\\n• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology advancements and provide technical expertise in evaluating new technology trends and requirements such as cloud, emerging legal technology, and other applications.\\\\n\\\\n\\\\n
