About Gurleen Pabla

My interest piques where public policy intersects with social behavior. I currently specialize in public relations within the Plaintiffs Bar, helping attorneys and plaintiffs tell their stories on some of the most impactful lawsuits in the country. I served as the 2022-23 President of the Associated Students of UC Santa Barbara, leading the largest non-profit in the county and representing over constituents. I initiated more than 15 research-based policies and projects and have implemented positive, long-lasting change across the campus. These projects ranged from advocacy and community events to funded programs for cultural groups, accessibility campaigns, and intellectual events across campus. I was honored with multiple awards for my leadership, civility, and courage, including the Yonie Harris Award, the Jeremy Johansen Award, and the Carolyn Gray Buford Award.
