ABOUT GURIQBAL SINGH SANDHU

I have 5+ years of experience in the field with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. Currently I am working at Hayden Industrial Products, where I am focusing on Project Management, Thermal design, Product costing and estimation, Product Design, Product Structure Modeling and Customer service. My objective is to obtain a respectable spot in design and development industry where I can use my wisdom and skill.As a mechanical engineer I have worked on designing platforms like CATIA V5, Inventor, AutoCAD, ProE, Solid Works, and ABACUS. Also I have good experience with MATLAB. I have the experience of working in a team as evident from my academic and industrial projects. My experience as an Intern, has taught me to work both as a team player and as an individual. During my position as a Maintenance Engineer at Wockhardt I had the privilege to manage and motivate employees. And I was able to implement innovative ideas of cutting down running cost. Moreover all the above experiences gave me good technical writing skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills and above all taught me discipline. Working in all these different environments has made me flexible to take on new challenges in the field. At Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering department at the University of Southern California, I have the unique opportunity to work with and learn from some of the most brilliant and intellectual minds in my field. I am confident that I can use my knowledge to work for the betterment of the organization I work with.
