Solo designer, designing systems that replace messy, manual workflows with tools people actually use to make day-to-day decisions. What I\'ve shipped- Greenhouse Planning Platform (0→1): Led end-to-end design for a tool that replaced Excel-based planning. Reduced planning time from 6–8 hours to 20 minutes, 60% user adoption within the first year of MVP launch.→ Advanced Search Redesign: Leadership committed to persona-based search. My research proved the hypothesis wrong. I redirected the product strategy toward intent-driven search. The shipped product is being used by 200+ users daily.→ Platform Improvements: Shipped usability and flexibility updates that drove 60% migration from legacy tools. How I work:I map complex workflows, conduct research that answers strategic questions (not just usability), and collaborate with PMs, researchers, and engineers to make design decisions that scale across systems, not just individual screens.

ABOUT OJAS GUPTA

I\'m a product designer who begins by understanding how users think, then creates experiences that meet their needs. This mindset stems from my background in architecture and 3+ years of experience leading enterprise product design at Bayer. I\'m a solo designer for two interconnected applications, simplifying complex workflows and shipping tools people use to make high-stakes decisions. The work I\'m most proud of: Leadership had committed to a product direction, my research said otherwise, and I redirected the roadmap. That\'s the kind of design I care about, not just shipping features, but shaping what gets built.A few highlights- Led 0→1 design from vision to launch for a planning tool that reduced workflow time from 6–8 hours to 10 minutes- Shipped platform improvements that drove 60% migration from legacy tools within the first year- Won an iF Design Award 2025 for a concept exploring AI and mindful commerceI like turning messy workflows into something people trust. I like research that changes decisions, not just validates them. Lately, I\'ve been exploring how AI can support real choices without removing human judgment.Currently open to what\'s next, ideally somewhere fast-moving, designing impactful products, where ownership isn\'t something you fight for.
