Work on Pure ODM/JDM product: Review design concept and Mechanical DFM, involved in thermal solution discussion, and approval to proto build. Work with a mechanical manufacturer quality team to define SPC spec. Work with a package designer and test. FRU and pack-out package concept to implement; Work with package test company to do drop test and S/V test. Audit L5 supplier. Lead the Mechanical product engineers and demonstrate strategic coordination on schedule and resources. o Reshape supply chain to de-geopolitical risk and disaster avoidance. o Bring up 3 more very capable mechanical suppliers at Hanoi - VN, Taipei and Philippines (Heatsink vendor). o Rebuild the cost model and negotiate Mexico vendor pricing with competitive pressure to a very competitive level,$540k saving per quarter and trending towards $1.4M per quarter by June 2025. Act as a partner that the commodity management team appraises and cannot work without. o Strategically design the supply chain with cost, schedule, capability and quality in mind. o Recommend allocation to keep the suppliers on their toes and optimize Pure COGS. Manage Ops Engineering team CapEx & OpEx: Planning and tracking Expanding and bringing up alternate source for Bezel assembly to simplify supply chain with around 50% cost reduction.
