   Guns Modern Design is a full service design firm with a collective of modern ideas pertaining to the built environment. Guns Modern has the understanding of various different scopes of work from new construction to simple renovation- Adaptive Reuse. In New Orleans, we pride ourselves with new creative ideas for old buildings and spaces- Renovation. Whether it\'s structural or non-structural, some homes need to be updated to current design standards. We understand how function relates to circulation within limited square footage because of the shotgun being a typical New Orleans\'​ home-Historic Districts. These districts are some of the oldest historical areas/neighborhoods in the United States. We understand these districts and know the proper procedures of renovating per certain design criteria-New Construction. Have a piece of land? A potential development? Maybe you want to add a camel back to your shotgun or remove the lower ceiling in your lean-to. We\'ve designed brand new additions and even brand new homes.
