About Gunnar Carlson

I’m currently the Community Engagement Manager for Riverton Community Housing. In my role, I work with seven cooperative community boards of directors to help them execute on their vision for their communities. I focus on supporting the boards and building their capacity to better help them advocate for their community\'s specific needs when working with their building management and the community at large. When not busy working on Riverton related tasks, I am a Trustee of the board for the Voyageurs Outward Bound School and a director of the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers board. I\'m also the past president (20••••23) of the MN Off Road Cyclists. When all that work is done, I enjoy outdoor recreation in the forms of mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, camping and fishing (tackle & fly, fresh & saltwater). I also enjoy photography and fly tying. Specialties: Leadership, community engagement, data collection & analysis, qualitative research, program evaluation, group facilitation, employee relations, customer/member engagement & satisfaction, technology implementation and management, meeting procedures and policy implementation, Robert\'s Rules of Order.
