As Treasurer for Women in Technology (WIT) at Georgia State University, I manage the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate tracking of all expenses, dues, and transactions. I create monthly financial reports for the E-Board and collaborate closely with the President to track budget allocations, submit annual budget requests to the Student Activity Fee Council (SAFC), and ensure compliance with all financial regulations. I also maintain transparent communication regarding fund availability for events and reimbursements.In addition, I coordinate fundraising initiatives and external funding requests, supporting the President in securing sponsorships and ensuring alignment with WIT’s financial goals. I collaborate with the VP of Events to allocate funds for events, ensuring resources are used effectively and all expenses are tracked. Through these responsibilities, I help ensure the financial health of WIT and its continued growth on campus.
