About Gunjan Gaba
The Work: In the year 2008, I decided not to sit for my MBA college placements but instead chose a career in advertising - An internship experiment that became my passion. After stints with some of the best global agencies like Ogilvy, Leo Burnett and McCann in Delhi, I decided to move to the city of my dreams - Bombay. In a career spanning over 16 years, I’ve worked on brands like Mahindra Auto, Britannia, upGrad, ICICI Lombard, MPL, Sebamed, Sony Set Max, Perfetti, Star Plus, Coca Cola, Maharashtra Tourism, Symphony and won many national and international accolades like Cannes, D & AD, One Show, Kyoorius and Effies. My work draws inspiration and insights from my real experiences and observations growing up in Lajpat Nagar in Delhi and now suburban Bombay. Besides my advertising work I have also co-written a play called ‘Dhund’ along with Sonal Dabral that was performed in Singapore. In my free time I am in constant search for that perfect North Indian cuisine which I miss oh-so-dearly in Bombay.
