A Technology leader with a track record of delivering complex, high performance Enterprise Architecture, R&D and Engineering engagements in diverse technologies including AI, Machine Learning/Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, IoT, Embedded Systems, Intelligent Networks, Web/Desktop Application Development, Enterprise Search, CMS, DAM, DRM, Middleware Technologies, and Databases. Led multiple Cognitive Automation engagements. 25+ years of diverse IT engineering and research experience, a result-oriented professional with technology depth and vision in multiple domains. Good leadership acumen, building and nurturing high performing technical teams across geography for both Delivery and R&D. Part of Cognizant Global Technology Office (GTO) Leadership team and was part of Information Media and Entertainment Vertical Leadership team.As a Research Leader, I have won two Innovation awards, filed 6 patents (5 granted and 1 pending), 4 research publications, and 2 thought leadership white papers. The research outcomes led to customer solutions and reusable frameworks that are used for multiple customer engagements. Currently, I am working as a Professor of Practice at VIT-AP, Amaravati. As Professor, I have been teaching Computer Vision (Fall 2024-25, Fall 2025-26), Digital Image Processing (Fall 2025-26) and Natural Language Processing (Winter 2024-25, Winter 2025-26) subjects for VIT-AP students. My role is to guide students for their Capstone and final year Senior Design Projects.Before that, I worked as the Applied Research & Translation Systems Architect and Professor at IHUB-DATA Lab (under TIH, DST, Govt of India), Hyderabad for three years. My contribution to IHUB-DATA was to set up the Data Foundation ecosystem to enable researchers to publish/share Datasets/Models and provide associated Data API/Services for healthcare, mobility, smart cities and other domains in the Indian context. The ecosystem helps researchers register, create, manage, publish, catalog, download and analyze datasets and encourage them to participate in AI/ML and Data analytics challenges. Also, we set up an in-house Shared server and AI workload infrastructure along with a multi-petabyte MinIO based object storage (S3 compliant) for Data management and AI model development. My personal interests include Travel, Cricket, Chess and Photography.
