   I work as a developer and lead in the team responsible for ANSYS Discovery-Explore (previously called Discovery Explore). I have been a part of the core group that foresaw the product from early conceptualization to product release.More information is available on part of the Discovery project, I specifically work on GPU accelerated- pre-processing and post-processing components- a robust translation from CAD geometry to FEA suitable discretization- graphical post-processing tools for interactive data visualizationSpecialized skills in- Computational geometry- Data structure and algorithm design for performance critical components- Graphics programming, parallel computing, and graphics/compute interoperability on GPUs Have contributed to two patents; one granted (U.S. Patent No. 9,824,493, 2017), one provisional.I have previously worked towards involving engineering input in the early conceptual design phases where sketching and rapid modeling the dominant tool for ideation.
