Sub-System Architecture Engineer• Responsible for developing suspension components for packaging by making directional decisions for new programs at advanced stages to accommodate for packaging, conformance to performance targets (vehicle dynamics and strength/durability).• Sizing for fasteners and fastened joints by conducting joint integrity calculations for slip and embedment.• Running suspension jounce to rebound; steering lock to lock sweeps for establishing working envelops for components and identifying clearance issue, implementing corrective actions.• Benchmarking competitor vehicles for size, manufacturing processes, dimensions and weight of components.Design Release Engineer• Responsible for Suspension components, its system design, development, and engineering release.• Responsible for sending out source packages and keeping suppliers updated with change in deigns, conducting supplier tech evaluations for contract award.• Design Validation (DV) of Suspension components by conducting DFMEA, DVP & R with suppliers and Team tech lead,supplier quality engineer.• Coordinating Model/drawing integrity check, Design validation activities (DVP & R), FEA, Vehicle Dynamics for integration of shock absorbers, Bushings at a system level.
