Over the past two years in my role as a Gender Expert at the Aga Khan Foundation, a key focus has beenidentifying challenges and disparities experienced by women, girls, and other marginalized groupswithin our targeted regions. I have provided technical assistance to design projects that are not onlygender-aware but also sensitive to the unique needs of these groups. Additionally, I have taken the leadin promoting gender equality at an institutional level, ensuring that departments such as Finance,Procurement, HR, and Administration adhere to our Gender Policy. Furthermore, I have activelycontributed to the National Development Strategy by advocating for the empowerment and activationof women\'s roles within society.
