ABOUT GULLA KALYAN REDDY
My Name is Gulla.Kalyan Reddy, and I am from Andhra Pradesh. He is Pursuing Masters degree in Chemical Engineering in one of the Premiere Technical Institute called The Birla Institute of Technology and science Pilani. I had completed Diploma Chemical Engineering in Petrochemicals and B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from GICE & GMRIT, Visakhapatnam, where I developed a strong foundation in core chemical engineering subjects such as thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, process equipment design and mass transfer.During my academic journey, I got the opportunity to intern at some prestigious organizations. I worked at ISRO, where I gained exposure to Mechanical unit operations like grinding, sieving, drying, Casting of Ammonium percholorate in Raw Material process plant. I also worked at Smilax Laboratories Limited, where I was learned about batch reactors, centrifuge, pumps. Apart from technical skills, I developed teamwork, while working on projects and internships. I am particularly interested in applying my chemical engineering knowledge to areas such of hydrogen production, nuclear engineering, thermodynamics and design engineering.At BITS pilani I am pursuing One year of (Thesis) Research work on Characterization, synthesis of biodegradable plastic with the help of Plant based bio materials like Starch, Cellulose, Glycerol, Poly vinyl alcohol, poly vinyl chloride and water.(Instead of using Non-Biodegradable plastic, we can use Biodegradable plastics with the help of plant based bio materials).
