The Western Dock project at Paradip Port is a state-of-the-art import-export terminal designed to transform cargo handling and logistics with a planned terminal capacity of 25 million tones per annum. Key features include:Project Cost- INR 3004 Cr.Comprising of.Jetty of 1,383 Meter of birthing space.17 million cubic meters of dredging for the channel and dock basin to accommodate fully loaded Cape-size vessels.A fully mechanized 14-kilometre conveyor system.25 kilometer of railway track linking Paradip Port Station to the Western Dock.5 ship unloaders, mobile harbor cranes, 6 stacker reclaimers, 4 rail-mounted gantry cranes for steel products, 2 wagon loaders, and 2 coal silos (each with capacity). Internal roads, storage yards for bulk and steel products, substation building pump house, UG water tank, workshops, and administrative offices.Storm drain of 16KM.Cable Trench of 3KM.Creek Bridge etc.
