ABOUT GUIYANG F.

I am an Engineer who has strong enthusiasm in technology and have been worked in different fields in my career across both software and hardware domains.I believe in team work(transparency, communication and lead by example), lifelong learning and solving hands-on problems with real demands.I started at Kneron as a digital RTL designer and transitioned into a system engineer there to help delivering the cutting-edge NPU solution that supports major ML framework like PyTorch and Tensorflow for machine learning inference workload. I learned to take challenges and get out of the comfort zone to grow. Later I expanded my skill sets into software and hardware co-design to optimize both the performance and power of the hardware by providing a tailored software SDK. At that time, I joined Cadence’s AI/ML Software team to help develop the Tensilica DSPs with a focus on quantization and ML compiler. With an unexpected career change, I am now a software engineer working at Unity to develop the game engine to power game developers. I grew a lot in adapting new challenges in a wholly new environment, and I enjoy working with people who have desire to utilize their technical expertise to create practical products.
