ABOUT PAUL MCDONOUGH

I’m always pushing boundaries, creating new and innovative ways of working.Everyday I come to work excited for a new challenge, constantly looking for new ways to improve the performance, stability, and perceptions of our IT systems and teams.Work is my passion; I genuinely LOVE what I do. Delivering amazing solutions for the benefit of our customers, building on great foundations and inspiring greatness in the wider IT organisations.Through my work ethic, enthusiasm and passion in IT, I\'ve been able to deliver tangible benefits across multiple streams within our company. I\'ve helped change the perception of IT divisions from ageing and slow to a responsive, fast and proactive organisation. Delivering projects and initiatives to tight schedules, but also to a exceptionally high standard I set for myself. All while ensuring the wider group have bought into our ideas and processes at the same time. I’ve challenged established ways of working and demonstrated how we can re-use existing data and systems, at no additional cost to bring major benefits to the company. Helping deliver large returns on investment utilising Machine Data across numerous industries and supporting business transformations through big data.Challenging myself and those around me to find better ways of working, delivering improvements to systems and changes to solutions, irrespective of size. If they change the experience of our customers for the better and help take bad costs out of the business they need to be done. Leading by example; I only ask of others what I would expect of myself. I always ensure I\'m delivering quality and successes today, to build upon tomorrow.
