Mentorship models the behavior of what good a loving person can bring to all those that they reach.As a computer science teacher involved in an introductory and two Advanced Placement courses; as a sponsor of the Computer Science Club, the Chess Club; and as a co-sponsor of both the Hispanic H.O.P.E.(Hispanic Organization Promoting Education) and Leadership Club, I have ample opportunities to make this so.By coming from the industry and sharing my perspectives with my Gwinnett County Public Schools high schoolers at Berkmar High School, they\'re learning about the core and lifelong importance of interpersonal and technological communication, and the impact this skillset has on their everyday lives, from their own self-image to their familial relationships, to their friendships at school, to their collaboration with school staff, and their communities. As a parent, I share with my students the successes and learning moments of over 30 years building love at home.
