Sr. Director of Engineering with a background in Biomedical Engineering, Medical device innovation, research and development, Pilot, scale up, process development, equipment development, DFM, MFG transfers, and business/supplier development. Proven leader with over 16 years of industry experience working on high visibility projects and taken more than 7 successful designs to market (Acculink carotid stent, Absolute peripheral stent, Accunet embolic protection, PVAC ablation catheter, Xcience drug eluting stent, Centera self expanding heart valve, Cardioband mitral repair, Pascal mitral repair). Over the past 12 years responsible for developing a team of industry experts that now formulate the Center of Excellence of Metals, servicing projects from conception through clinical trials and transfer to suppliers for production.
