ABOUT GUILLAUME PALEGIE

Since 2009, I’ve worked in the VFX industry on 40 movies, 8 tv shows, 12 commercials and 1 short in studios such as Framestore, MPC, Folks VFX, Dream Machine FX, Mr.X, Raynault VFX, BUF Company and Macguff. As Compositing Supervisor, Lead and Senior, I’ve used my experience, efficiency and dedication to help artists improve their skills, solve complex technical and creative challenges, to push shots to their highest quality within tight deadlines. Throughout my career in leading roles, my focus has always been to provide an engaging and motivating environment for artists to grow and learn.My expertise includes 6 years in compositing role during which I’ve mastered Nuke along with developing a deep understanding of the VFX pipeline. I’ve then moved on to leadership roles as Compositing Lead for 4 years in 3 major studios : MPC, Framestore and Mr.X, where I used my technical knowledge and artistic vision to improve shots, develop tools, offer guidance, and ensure of the continuity and quality of projects in both movies and TV series. Having learned from talented Compositing Supervisors and VFX Supervisors across all companies, I moved to a supervision role in 2020, the role I’m currently holding at Dream Machine FX Montreal.
