ABOUT GUILHERME CAMARGO
I currently lead the Project Feasibility and Budget Evaluation team at TGN, one of the largest natural gas carriers in Latin America. My responsibilities include preparing the company\'s investment plan, conducting technical and economic evaluations of new business initiatives, internal improvement projects (CAPEX and OPEX), and emissions reduction measures. My role encompasses strategic project management and leading teams focused on new technologies and energy transition.With over 10 years of experience in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, I have worked across maintenance, operations, and engineering. Throughout my career, I have led multidisciplinary teams in various areas, managing both operational and strategic demands.I am energy engineer and a mechanical engineer. I participated in an international study program in Spain for a year, which strengthened my research skills and broadened my global perspective. Additionally, I completed technical certifications in Electromechanics and Industrial Mechanics, building a strong foundation in industrial maintenance and operations.I firmly believe that the greatest global challenge in the energy sector is balancing growing demand with environmental sustainability, minimizing CO₂ emissions. As an engineer and leader, my goal is to actively contribute to this mission, creating a positive impact for my son and future generations.I am fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, and an enthusiastic beginner in German.
