Working for over 10 years in environmental and safety management within oil and gas and mining industries, graduated in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering with post-graduate specialization in Safety Engineering. Completed my M.Eng. program in 2019 with research focused on environmental risk of oil spills. Extensive experience in environmental and safety risk assessment and management, environmental impact assessment, emergency response planning, oil spill transport and weathering modelling, contaminant fate modeling and currently working at Environment and Climate Change Canada providing scientific support to governmental agencies and industry partners in the event of pollution incidents.
