Oversee the processes and systems that ensure the effective management of an organization’s Configuration Items (CIs) and Knowledge Base. Ensure that all IT assets and services are accurately documented, tracked, and updated in alignment with organizational goals, standards, and best practices (e.g, ITIL).• Configuration Management: Managing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure that all IT infrastructure components (hardware, software, network devices, etc.) are accurately represented and up to date. This involves maintaining data integrity, ensuring compliance with policies, and facilitating seamless updates and integrations.• Knowledge Management: Overseeing the creation, storage, and sharing of knowledge across the organization. This includes managing a centralized Knowledge Base (KB) to document solutions, best practices, troubleshooting guides, and other critical information, making it accessible to teams to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.• Governance and Compliance: Ensuring that both Configuration and Knowledge Management processes are governed by established policies and procedures, and that they comply with regulatory requirements (e.g, GDPR, ISO 27001).• Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as IT operations, service management, cybersecurity, and business partners, to identify opportunities for process improvement, optimize performance, and enhance the organization’s overall service delivery.
