ABOUT GUIDO DIMATTEO

I have been working in the field of new product development for over 21 years and am thrilled to leverage my knowledge in the exciting field of information security. In 2018 I obtained a new position as a Product Security Engineer / InfoSec Specialist and earned my CISSP certification late 2019. I began my 24 year (and counting) career at Xerox as a contract print system operator in I captured system logs, wrote up defects into a Microsoft Access tracking database, and after showing an aptitude for fault recreation and fix validation, was hired full time as a software analyst. Soon after, I delved into print hardware maintenance, service, and troubleshooting, and worked my way up to become a top level printer technician. At the same time I also began submitting hardware related invention disclosures and currently have 4 patents to my name.In 2012 I was put in charge of unifying print engine simulator support and became a single point of contact for partners in Japan, India, California, and New York. I spearheaded the use of live video WebEx support to simplify remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and training procedures, and became a senior level integration engineer and completed my masters degree in Product Development through R.I.T. in 2017.I obtained a B.S. In Information Technology in 2006 and an M.S. In Product Development in 2016. Out of necessity my duties expanded to include CVE, PSIR, and product hardening in 2016 and became inspired to change careers and follow a new path. My current occupational passion is Information Security and I have gained much experience over a broad spectrum of the industry. The skills I have honed over the past 6 years (and counting) include but are not limited to:1. Scan appliance usage and results analysis - Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Webinspect, Checkmarx, Accunetix, Revenera (FNCI), NMAP, Burp Suite, Wireshark.2. Technical writing - Create and maintain customer facing product security guides, bulletins, and whitepapers for publication. Document security processes, procedures, and requirements across entire portfolios.3. Mandate compliance and SDLC Governance - Total Financial Excellence process integration, documentation, and improvements, cooperative guidance for program management, engineering, development, and partners, related to corporate and product security.4. Research and comprehend government directives, laws, and acts - Communicate directives to development for integration, certification, and support: UK PKI, EU RED, CA Law, EO14028,
