From April 2025 am a Non-Executive Director at Intesa Sanpaolo SpA, am also a member of the Risks and Sustainability Committee and Chair of the Committee for transactions with Related Parties.From April 2024 am Chairman of the Board of Coalescent Labs SpA, a software house based in Pisa.From July 2023 to May 2024, I have been Chairman of the Board of Quaestio Capital SGR S.p.A, an asset management company based in Milan serving mainly institutional clients, and of Quaestio Holding S.A, a company based in Luxembourg.I have been an Audit Partner at EY SpA, with audit responsibility for top EY clients in the banking sector, up to June 2023. I joined EY Italy in 1983 and became a Partner in January 1998. I have been for nine years a member of the Board of EY S.p.A, the Italian audit entity of the EY network, with the responsibility of managing the Financial Services Organization (FSO) in Italy; in that role, I have overseen approximately 1.100 people devoted to the Italian financial market. I have also been a Member of the EY EMEIA FSO Regional Leadership Board. I have served as a Partner on a number of assignments for the major Italian banks and for subsidiaries of major foreign financial groups, including audit, due diligence, valuation and consulting projects. I spent most of my professional life in Italy but had many and significant experiences abroad.
