The HR Operations team is accountable for the delivery of operational and strategic HR support to HHS leaders, physicians and employees. The team is comprised of a diverse group of high performing HR professionals including various HR Operations roles and HR Business Partners. This team is part of the broader Human Resources Portfolio that includes Health Safety and Wellness, HR Support Services, Employee & Labour Relations, Organizational Development and Human Rights & Diversity. This portfolio provides leadership, strategy and all operational programs and functions related to the workforce at Hamilton Health Sciences.Provides HR support to the Leaders within an assigned portfolio, up to and including the Director level. Together with the HRBP, the HR Associate is responsible for the effective service delivery within their assigned portfolio, acting as a trusted advisor to leaders on HR issues and initiatives, supporting the execution of the business operations while aligning with the strategic corporate plan. The HR Associate provides consultative support to leaders within an assigned client group while ensuring alignment with Hospital policies and procedures, legislation, collective agreements and the Corporate Mission, Vision and Values, while minimizing risk and financial liability to the organization.
