About Guha Raman

I\'ve spent my career at the point where complex systems meet the real world, where things either work or they don\'t. Across automotive, electrification, and Amazon-scale robotics, the answer has mostly been: they work. Based in Austin, TX. Open to Sr. Manager, Director, and Principal TPM roles in hardware programs, robotics, and physical systems. That foundation started at Cummins. A decade in automotive product development leading safety-critical turbocharger programs from proof of concept through production ramp. Team of 12 engineers,$8M budget,$35.5M in warranty savings across engine platforms. I also led the field safety program response for a 68,600-unit engine recall, owning requirements triage, supplier coordination, and full field deployment. That work teaches you things about NPI and risk that you cannot learn any other way. From there, Technical Program Management at NI working across global teams of 20+ delivering EV test system development. The hardware product I launched generated $5.4M in its first year, built on a compressed NPI cycle in a market that didn\'t fully exist yet. Operating where customer requirements are still forming while your team needs direction today sharpened something I\'ve drawn on at every level since. At Amazon Robotics I operate at a scale that still surprises me. My team builds the standards and infrastructure readiness frameworks that allow robotics deployments to land cleanly in live fulfillment centers. In 2025, we saved $12M in deployment cost savings across 20+ global sites. Additionally, an engineer I hired developed a voltage sag predictive model now applied network-wide, delivering $14.5M in lifecycle savings through BOM reductions. I also own a $2.94M Deployment Readiness Lab expansion, business case authored and approved at the VP level. What I bring to Director-level roles is genuinely uncommon: deep roots in safety-critical physical systems, a track record of shipping hardware through full NPI cycles, eight-figure capital program ownership, and the ability to build and develop teams that deliver at a high bar consistently. What I\'m looking for next is a role where the hardest problems are still physical; where the answer has to survive a factory floor, a supply chain, and a customer. The thing I am most proud of is the leaders and engineers I have helped grow along the way. r••••••••@gmail.com
