ABOUT GUGLIELMO GUARNERA
I design and build complex systems for media pipelines, virtual production and AI-based automation. Work focuses on the intersection between real-time production, LED volume workflows, software systems and operational AI. Experience includes high-pressure environments across virtual production, broadcast and on-set technical R&D, with senior roles in LED volume workflows, Unreal-based pipelines, Pixera systems, TouchDesigner and real-time media infrastructures. Alongside production work, I develop internal R&D systems focused on workflow orchestration, automation, structured data handling and integration with legacy software environments without APIs. Background spans directing, production, television, VFX-oriented work and real-time systems, enabling alignment between creative intent and technical execution in complex production environments. Core areas: AI systems, automation, virtual production, LED volume, real-time media systems, TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine, Pixera, broadcast workflows, system integration, on-set R&D.Early exposure to computing and digital systems from a very young age, working with early-generation hardware and software across graphics, video and data processing. Early involvement in data analysis and automated monitoring systems, including urban traffic analysis projects in international cooperation contexts (PHARE Programme), developed through Studio Market Selector, with operational applications across border monitoring and metropolitan environments.
