ABOUT LUCIANO GUGLIELMI

With a solid background started with more than 10 years of R&D experience in academic institutions, Luciano Guglielmi is a manager of big projects in national and international environments with an attitude to look for new technical opportunities for the business development doing deep analysis, about processes and technical aspects. Usual to manage complex negotiations both from a commercial point of view and technology one he is usaual to coordinate large development and working groups. After several years spent as CIO of large enterprises, where he managed infrastructure and application transformation projects, actually acts as a consultant for IT transformation and temporary manager in large projects. Believes that the impact of the correct definition of business processes is the basis for a flexible and constantly evolving organizational model. As the author of various publications and interventions in national and international conferences, he considers the dissemination and sharing of individual experiences a reason for professional growth. He is president of CIO AICA Forum, a working group that brings together over 70 CIOs of medium-large Italian companies, he was president of FINAKI 2019. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the EUROCIO association which brings together CIOs and their trade associations, till it dissolution. He believes that technology must play a fundamental role in the growth of society by helping and not hindering its progress at all levels, making the world that will come a sustainable place from all points of view: economic, social, environmental and so on. Since autumn 2020 he is the Director of the Steering Committee at the Foundation for Digital Sustainability, a foundation that studies the impact of digital transformation on sustainability with a 360-degree vision according to the guidelines of the UN 2030 agenda. Starting on Autumn 2021 he acts as Senior Advisor @ PwC for the Industrial Transformation and as Temporary CIO @ Design Holding group. He collaborates with the magazine Data Manager as a writer and a coordinator of technical round table.
