ABOUT GUARIEN BARONE
I am a fourth-year student at NYU Tandon, where I have previously worked two internships in Dell Technologies, creating a significant impact on their customer product by creating new testing features to decrease software update deployment times. I am the current President of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, where I manage my executive board\'s operations and programming in order to support over 500 members of my chapter. I am now searching for full-time opportunities to enhance my skillset.As a computer engineering major, obtaining success from countless failures is what drives my motivation. I love technical work, testing software, extensive research, and testing to make sure products work effectively. I\'ve applied many of these skills throughout my coursework and school projects and would like to expand my knowledge and curiosity beyond.After achieving my dream of getting into an engineering college. I often rarely see others who look like me. Prior to getting into college, I was involved in various diverse tech programs that aide me in getting where I am now. I want to return the favor now and become a leader in STEM, encouraging others that they too, can also be an engineer.I have a deep passion for engineering and gaining knowledge in order to make an impact on the world. I want to bring products and services to the mass population of communities, that can aim to improve their quality of life and enhance user experience. I have a specific goal in mind which is to become a mentor and bring in the effort increase diversity amongst STEM.
