ABOUT GUANQIAO FENG
I am a computational biologist by training, with 8 years of expertise in genomics and transcriptomics data analysis. I thrive on extracting valuable insights from complex big data using cutting-edge methods and technologies. Currently, I work as a bioinformatician at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR), where I develop open-source bioinformatics tools and standardized workflows for cancer genomics data processing.As part of a software engineering team, I contribute to the development and maintenance of genomics databases and open-source software. This experience has been invaluable in shaping my approach to computational biology, emphasizing data sharing, reproducibility, and open-source principles.I am passionate about applying machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) in genomics research.
