I have over 20 years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience plus over eight years’ experience working with Epic. I have worked with several healthcare organizations in a variety of roles within the billing office and Epic project teams. At Driscoll, starting as a Financial Assistance Specialist, I worked to become a Systems Analyst, initially supporting McKesson and later worked to transition the organization to Epic. Based on my strong knowledge of the system and organizational workflows, I took on the role of Interim PFS Director. While maintaining normal Epic Application Coordinator duties. During this time, I made a very positive impact on the amount of clean claims that went out, increasing revenue and reducing AR days substantially. As a consultant, I later worked with MultiCare as their HB Claims Analyst, where I successfully transitioned them from 4010 to 5010 claims. At Sutter Health, I was on the HB implementation team and acting as a resource for the team, and mentoring operational managers to ensure the success of the project. I worked at King’s Daughters Medical Center (KDMC) assisting with Sagacious Consultants’ Strategic Revenue project –reducing AR, increasing cash, and ensuring the overall health of the revenue cycle operation. I have proven past successes and my vast experience working in the system to maximize revenue and decrease AR. Implemented Psyc Unit at UCSF - Langley Porter unit.
