IEA\'s PVPS-Task 13 focuses on- Compiling reliable statistical data for a variety of decision makers for different PV applications and system locations (e.g. different countries, regions, climates)- Technical issues such as adapting test methods and lifetime assessment of PV modules, comparing the long-term behaviour of systems and components, as well as performance analysis and optimization of PV systems- Economic and institutional issues such as the comparison of investment costs and energy costs, the analysis of maintenance costs of specific components, as well as the analysis of failures and statistics.I am involved in Task 13 as a research/scientific expert and national participant for France (20••••16) and Norway (2017-), particularly contributing to reporting, presentation and review activities within my fields of expertise (Subtask 3: PV Module Characterisation and Reliability; with a focus on infrared thermography and electroluminescence imaging as failure diagnostic tools in the PV field)IEA Photovoltaic Power Systems Programme (PVPS) is one of the collaborative R&D Agreements established within the IEA and, since its establishment in 1993, the PVPS participants have been conducting a variety of joint projects in the application of photovoltaic conversion of solar energy into electricity.
