About George Tichenor

I find the problems people stopped raising or ignored and build the systems that keep them fixed. That’s my role in Product Operations. I run the operational infrastructure behind a collection of products so engineering and product teams can build and ship effectively.At Meta I’ve done this across two areas.In Trust & Safety, I built detection pipelines using SQL and internal tooling to give teams the capability to investigate fraud and abuse at scale. I developed LLM-based agents to detect emerging threats and worked directly with Policy teams on immediate response, coverage, and triage during 3 US election cycles and roughly 40 critical global events including international conflicts and AI-generated content risks.On the product side, I manage operations across 10+ product areas of varying scope and size, focused on increasing quality by reducing user-reported bugs and resolving issues that affect real users. I’m currently building AI-powered systems using Claude to scale how we operate.Before Meta I was a Program Manager in the U.S. Army. I ran logistics and equipment operations for a unit of 150+ personnel across multiple deployments. The problems looked different. The work was the same.I care about fixing the root cause of an issue, not just the metric on top of it. That’s what gets me up in the morning.
