About Grant Swenson

Grant Swenson is a Senior Production Underwriter with Great American Insurance Group’s Environmental Division. In his role, Grant evaluates risk profiles to provide innovative insurance solutions to insureds across a variety of industries while collaborating with a diverse team of industry professionals. With nearly six years working in the environmental insurance sector, Grant brings valuable knowledge to the team. Prior to working at Great American, Grant was a client advisor for Marsh’s Environmental Practice. During his tenure, he worked with high profile clients to negotiate comprehensive risk transfer solutions for environmental exposures, maintained large books of business, and advised clients in a number of industries including real estate, private equity, energy, healthcare and manufacturing. Grant started his career at Allied World Assurance Company as an environmental account coordinator. There he supported underwriters in administration and processing of new business submissions and worked proactively to process internal and external queries received from brokers. Grant received his Bachelor of Science in political science from University of Connecticut. He was a member of the University’s Soil and Water Conservation Society and Business Golf Club. He is based out of our Boston, MA office.
