I’ve spent the last 25+ years leading IT transformation in industries that don’t typically have the luxury of downtime—construction, energy, engineering, and food safety. My focus has always been to create technology environments that are secure, scalable, and built to empower the business, not hold it back. Whether it\'s standing up global operations post-divestiture or modernizing legacy infrastructure to support rapid growth, I bring a practical, strategy-first approach to IT leadership.At my core, I’m a builder—of systems, teams, and culture. I’ve led ERP implementations, rolled out cybersecurity frameworks aligned with ISO/NIST, and negotiated multimillion-dollar vendor contracts that delivered both savings and strategic value. But perhaps more importantly, I’ve developed and mentored strong teams, creating environments where people feel trusted, supported, and empowered to do their best work.Outside of the office, I’m a bit of a weekend pitmaster—I love barbecuing briskets and ribs, and I’ll happily debate BBQ techniques with anyone who asks. I’m also a huge college football fan, and for over 20 years I’ve helped run a mathematical poll that was part of the old BCS system. Add in a passion for golf and coffee and you get the full picture. I believe work can and should be enjoyable, and that leadership is about trust, collaboration, and letting people shine.
