I build compliant systems from scratch where others see only regulatory walls.My path to batteries started with a broken RC helicopter. As a teenager I was rebuilding LiPo packs and soldering ESCs before I knew what a BMS was. That obsession evolved: self-built multirotors with Arduino and Wii sensors, then ArduPilot rigs carrying a GoPro into Alpine valleys at metres, then DJI platforms surveying hectares of archaeological sites with Agisoft PhotoScan. Every drone I built or flew taught me something about cells, energy management, and mission-critical reliability. The batteries were never just a component — they were the constraint I kept pushing against.In parallel, I spent 11+ years inside a helicopter maintenance organisation where a documentation error is not a process gap — it is a safety event. That mindset became my operating system, and I carried it everywhere.Today I\'m the Quality & Compliance Manager at XEV, managing the full WVTA lifecycle for L7e electric vehicles under Reg.(EU) 168/2013. I\'m the company\'s reference point for EU homologation bodies — responsible for type-approval strategy, Conformity of Production audits, CoC integrity, market surveillance, and technical training across the EMEA network. When something doesn\'t comply, I have the authority to stop shipments. I use it.In parallel, I\'m developing ANQ Batteries — an R&D project applying aviation-grade quality to lithium-ion battery repair, regeneration, and second-life energy storage for Renewable Energy Communities. It sits at the intersection of the EU Battery Regulation, Right to Repair, and Critical Raw Materials Act. It is not yet a company.
