ABOUT GIOVANNI GROSSI

I am a manager and advisor passionate about Energy and Industrial Goods, two of the most rapidly evolving sectors that are facing a radical technological and social change. I have over a decade of experience supporting leading companies and senior executives across Italy and Europe in defining their strategic ambitions and achieving their goals — in both ordinary and highly transformative business contexts.My expertise spans the energy and industrial manufacturing sectors, as well as financial investors focused on these industries.I work side-by-side with clients to- Develop new business opportunities, such as launching greenfield ventures, entering new markets, or building strategic partnerships- Structure, negotiate, and close complex transactions that create long-term value- Drive performance improvement and transformation across marketing & sales, operations, digital, technology, and ESG. In several cases, I have led or supported full turnarounds of industrial businesses in highly complex or distressed situations.Before joining BCG, I worked for several years as an investment manager at a family office focused on acquiring and managing majority stakes in Italian industrial companies. In this role, I was responsible for M&A execution and portfolio management, serving as a board member in several portfolio companies.I am also an entrepreneur and investor in small-cap ventures across diverse sectors — from food retail to machinery manufacturing — combining a hands-on business approach with a strategic, innovation-driven mindset.
