About Grish Majethiya

Hi, I’m Grish, a budding filmmaker, actor, and drone operator based in Mumbai. I started my storytelling journey at age 9 with Marathi Theater at my hometown, which eventually led to winning No. 1 Dramebaaz (Season 3) and ignited my passion for film and media. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to work on some exciting projects as both an actor and filmmaker, including EPIC IQ, Legendary Locations, and my award-winning short film Decision. My passion for directing took hold back in 10th grade, when I started reimagining my English class stories as short films. After plenty of late-night learning sessions and online tutorials, I created GM Productions to bring these ideas to life. With GM Productions, I work on everything from short films and commercials to music videos and concert coverage for clients like Aakash Gupta, DJ Project 91, IIT Bombay Tech Fest, and Tata Mumbai Lit Fest. I’m also a DGCA Certified Drone Pilot, which allows me to add unique aerial shots to our projects. In addition to GM Productions, I freelance in cinematography and video editing, capturing visuals and stories for other brands and creators. Plus, I co-lead my college’s drama team, Rhapsody, where we put on street plays and stage shows that dive into meaningful social topics.
