ABOUT GRIFFIN WEBER
I specialize in building informatics tools and infrastructure for multi-institution collaborative science. These include the open source Integrating Biology and the Bedside (i2b2) software platform for query, analysis, and visualization of clinical data; the Shared Health Research Information Network (SHRINE) to create federated clinical data networks; and Profiles RNS, a social networking website for scientists. My research focuses on data quality in electronic health record (EHR) systems, machine learning based computational phenotypes, and social network analysis. I was elected a Fellow in the American College of Medical Informatics (FACMI) in 2020.
