Marketing Account Manager | MBA Candidate | Advocate for Health Equity and Affordable HealthcareI am currently based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, serving as a Marketing Account Manager at CommunityCare, a company dedicated to delivering high-quality, cost-effective health care management services. I joined CommunityCare as Marketing Coordinator in July 2020, progressing to Sales Account Executive in July 2021, and advancing to my current role in January 2024. As a Marketing Account Manager, I manage relationships with 50+ employee employer groups, handle renewals, address benefit questions, and ensure an excellent experience for our clients. In addition to my professional role, I recently completed an MBA program at Northeastern State University through their fully online program and graduating in May, 2025. Having the flexibility of the program allowed me to balance my career and continued education, while I am proud to have graduated with honors. The online format has also honed my skills in virtual collaboration, an invaluable asset in today\'s increasingly remote work environment. I hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Communication with a minor in Business from the University of Colorado, class of 2020. Graduating during the onset of COVID-19, I faced the challenge of entering the job market at a very difficult and strange time. The experience of battling through widespread hiring freezes and still working to have intentional conversations about future job prospects bolstered my resilience and helped to shape my professional identity as someone who is steadfast and determined to push forward. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife and our cats, watching soccer (I\'m a devoted Liverpool fan - You\'ll Never Walk Alone!), as well as running, cycling, and spending time in the sun.    As of January, 2024 I stepped into my current role as Marketing Account Manager. In this position, I manage relationships with CommunityCare\'s large group (50+ employee) segment. I answer questions and solve problems on a day to day basis, working with internal and external stakeholders to identify the best course of action on certain issues. In addition, I present at open enrollment meetings, explaining benefits and talking about some of the ways in which members can get the most out of their health coverage. I also discuss, release, and finalize renewals with our clients and broker partners.
