WORK HISTORY
Research Assistant @University Of Colorado Boulder College Of Engineering & Applied Science
Boulder, CO, US
Over the course of nearly two years, I had the pleasure of working both independently and with additional undergraduate and graduate students to investigate the elastohydrodynamic collision phenomena between several wetted particle systems. I utilized data and results from a novel air-table collision apparatus to compare with theoretical simulations combining lubrication theory with Newton’s second law to extend and predict the outcome of these multi-phase collisions and their dominant force. Furthermore, matlab visual tracking software was developed to accurately collect numerical data from high frame rate videos while minimizing error from distortion effects. I was able to secure funding for the project from the university and the discovery learners apprenticeship program to conduct this research and present it at DLA and the National Conference on Uundergraduate Research (NCUR, 2024) events. Message me if you are interested in the future publication by Dr. Robert H. Davis, Souradeep Roychowdhury, myself and others on the full discoveries of the study.
