ABOUT GRIFFIN CONANT
I\'m a passionate and versatile sports media professional with experience across sports journalism, recruiting, public relations, and podcasting.In 2020, I co-founded Showcase Sports Media, a platform dedicated to elevating up-and-coming sports writers and podcasters locally and nationally. I also hosted The Showcase Sports Show, a podcast covering all things sports. Though operations wrapped in late 2021, the experience of building a brand, forging industry connections, and helping others break into sports media was invaluable.I’ve worked as a football scout for Prep Network, attending high school games, producing player-focused analysis, and supporting athletes’ recruiting and branding efforts in Colorado. As Associate Editor of Sports Betting and Fantasy Sports at ClutchPoints, I managed daily editorial, social, and video content, helping shape the voice of the platform’s betting coverage.In summer 2024, I served as Head of Public Relations Intern for the Arizona Rattlers and Tucson Sugar Skulls of the IFL, managing media duties ranging from social media and article publishing to content creation and game notes.Later in 2024, I joined Athlon Sports as a staff writer covering the Texas Longhorns (Longhorns Country), Alabama Crimson Tide (All Crimson Tide), and Las Vegas Raiders (Raiders Today).I\'m also a Maxwell Football Club member and proud voter for the Maxwell and Chuck Bednarik Awards.In spring 2025, I stepped into a new role as a Recruiting Coordinator with NCSA College Recruiting, part of IMG Academy. I work directly with student-athletes and their families, providing personalized guidance on academic and athletic fit, NCAA compliance, scholarship navigation, and coach communication.I hold a B.S. in Sports Management from Grand Canyon University and bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a people-first mindset to every role. I’m always looking to grow, contribute meaningfully, and take the next step in the sports industry.
