My passion for understanding cross-sections of business, culture, and innovation has driven me to pursue my academics as a fourth-year student majoring in International Business at Illinois Wesleyan University. My academic journey has been driven by my desire to understand diverse markets and adapt to the challenges of a rapidly evolving business environment. Through the successful management of family-owned franchises in Central Illinois from a young age, I have gained hands-on experience. I have strong foundations in operations, customer relations, and team leadership. My practical exposure to business management instilled in me my passion for strategy and growth and afforded me with invaluable insight into what drives success within dynamic environments. Presently, I am building and/or reinforcing my business know-how through active participations, internships, and leadership that enable me to work with leaders in the industry. Undeniably, the richest lesson is that at the bottom of every success lies relationship building and connectivity.    In my role at ADM I manage monthly accounting activities in full alignment with US GAAP. This includes preparing financial statements, reviewing supporting schedules, and performing detailed analysis to explain results and highlight performance drivers. My responsibilities go beyond reporting. I work closely with business partners to provide context and insight to the numbers, helping translate financial results into actionable information. My work spans plant accounting, P&L reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparation of accruals/deferrals/amortizations. Each area contributes to ADM\'s ability to deliver accurate, reliable, and timely financial information at both operation and corporate level. I also engage in process changes and system improvements. When requirements or operations shift, I take part in evaluating the impact and ensuring accounting processes adapt seamlessly. The role requires precision in execution, analytical depth in evaluation, clear communication with stakeholders, all of which support ADM\'s position as a global leader in agriculture and commodities.
