About Griffin Sheehy
It can be a bit confusing being a college senior in our world at the moment. With graduation approaching the idea of landing a job is a daunting task. Through hard work and dedication I believe I can achieve my ultimate goal of finding employment post graduation.Currently I am working towards a Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance. Ideally I am hoping to land an entry level position in the finance and or sales industry this summer to gain valuable knowledge and to create strong relationships that could eventually lead me to a successful and prolonged career. Over the course of my life I have enjoyed working with numbers and math has always been my favorite subject. In addition, I really enjoy working with people, especially if we are working together as a team. Furthermore, the jobs I have worked previously have allowed me to adapt to situations that I am necessarily prepared for and allow me to think on my feet. This way of thinking has brought me to one day hopefully being a financial advisor and eventually opening up my own firm. So far in my life I have found success related to employment not exactly related to my field of study but it proves how much of a hardworking person I am. After my graduation from high school I went to work for a landscaping company, after my freshman and sophomore years of college I worked for a construction company in the summer where I would average fifty hour weeks. This past summer I worked with an appraiser in the real estate industry and I currently work at Amedeo’s a local Italian restaurant where I am a waiter. Throughout my academic career I have managed to make the dean\'s list every semester so far on campus. I also took a leadership role within my fraternity as the co-recruitment chair where I organized the process of obtaining new members for our chapter within the university and I am also a member of the finance club.I am actively looking for an entry level sales or finance related position where I can bring a valuable skill set that will have an immediate impact on your company.
