About Griffin McGinn
I love being in the middle of engineering and business. Coupling an MBA with my mechanical engineering degree and industrial engineering experience, I enjoy translating engineering solutions to business results and business expectations to engineering deliverables. I am a data-driven decision-maker with a love for organizational efficiency, process improvement, root cause analysis, and data analysis. I am a solid communicator and collaborator and have been successful presenting to senior and executive leadership and working with cross-functional teams (equipment engineering, process engineering, facilities, finance, developers, procurement, equipment suppliers, facilities trades, and logistics firms). I believe in and build strong working relationships.The majority of my time is from the semiconductor industry, spread across the following activities- Overseeing the install schedule to build out a factory (shipping, receiving, facilitation, install, qualify)- Overseeing entire factory capacity studies for capex forecasting and long-term production commitments- Making and managing capacity models for specific production areas- Ensuring efficient use of capital assets (capacity, capability, utilization, availability, throughput)- Managing the health and performance of semiconductor equipment- Managing the equipment layout of semiconductor factories
