About Griffin Harrington
I’m a graduate of Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business with a B.S. in Global Business and Finance, graduating with a 3.8 GPA. I was born in Washington D.C, but spent my childhood in Mexico City, California, and Tennessee before coming to New York to pursue my business degree. My past internship at PwC was an immersive experience during the busy season with the Financial Markets and Real Estate team. I worked on client engagements that included private equity firms, REITs and Fortune 500 companies. My primary responsibility was to trace the value drivers within robust financial models, and test these values against market data. I tested assumptions such as market rent growth and absorption rate from client models against corresponding market data from CBRE, RCA, and CoStar databases. I summarized my findings using standard templates and offered commentary about asset valuations. At Keller Williams, I received excellent client-facing experience by guiding our buyers through every step of the transaction and providing a comprehensive review of their finances to ensure proper disclosure. I helped coordinate a team of contractors hired to prepare our listings for sale. It was my responsibility to make sure that the renovations of these listings went smoothly, and that all third parties involved were fully informed, insured, and registered with the building. I also co-founded an hospitality firm named Dionysus which specializes in the curation and marketing of high-scale private events across New York’s top venues. A venue will approach us for help filling their space on a particular day, and we will leverage our extensive network to provide musical programming, promotional marketing, security, lighting, anything that the venue brand needs to ensure a successful night. Since launching this project two years ago with two friends, we have generated roughly in revenue.
