ABOUT GRIFF JONES

As a recent graduate from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business, I am passionate about exploring and enhancing the global dimensions of business operations. I have gained valuable knowledge and skills in international trade, finance, marketing, and management, as well as intercultural communication and awareness. I have also enriched my academic experience by studying abroad at the Università Cattaneo in Italy for one semester, where I learned from diverse perspectives and expanded my network. Currently, I am applying and developing my logistics skills as a Logistics Account Manager at Integrity Express Logistics, a leading third-party logistics provider that offers customized and innovative solutions to clients across various industries. In this role, I manage and maintain accounts of existing clients, ensuring their logistics needs are met efficiently and effectively. I coordinate and schedule pickups and drop-offs, monitor and communicate with drivers, resolve logistics-related issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. I also utilize logistics management software and tools to track shipments, update inventory, and generate reports. Through this internship, I have demonstrated my problem-solving, communication, and hospitality skills, as well as my ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
