ABOUT GEORGE COLVILLE
I am a tech policy and governance specialist, with a focus on AI and digital platforms. A research-driven, people-focused individual, I am passionate about ensuring public policy enables and empowers positive technological development. In 2024, I completed an MSc in the Social Science of the Internet at the University of Oxford, graduating with a distinction. My research focused on fairness and safety issues in machine learning, and competition questions in AI and digital platforms. Past experience includes policy research and project management work for the United Nations at the intersection of technology policy and development policy. Having studied law at the University of Cambridge, I am particularly attuned to legal and regulatory developments around digital technology and data, especially in the European Union.
