ABOUT GRETCHEN SUMMER-GAFFORD
My area of expertise is in mentoring clinical RNs, especially frontline staff and nursing leaders enrolled in academic professional development programs (i.e, to earn a BSN, MSN, DNP, or PhD), to gain IRB approval and conduct nursing research studies, academic qualifying projects, evidence-based practice projects, quality or performance improvement, and program change evaluations. In addition, as Associate Editor for the Nursing Research and Practice section of The Permanente Journal, I welcome all manuscripts, papers, commentaries, art pieces, poetry, or whatever for thoughtful peer review and publication in The Permanente Journal, a widely cited, peer-reviewed, healthcare journal celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2017!
